Depending on the accuracy required, a Trimble Pro XRS (sub metre) or RTK GPS (centimetre) is used.




The AQC Precision Sonar System is being deployed from a small inflatable. A DGPS antenna was fastened to the top of the pole and gave sub-metre positional accuracy.
